Cordelia Emory is a game designer, who is passionate about creating challenging games for players of all skill levels. Cordelia has experience in both digital and analog game design, and multiple programming languages (C#, javascript, python, php, unreal script, unity script), game development kits (Unity3D, Construct 2, Unreal Engine 3) and basic design tools (Photoshop, Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point).
Cordelia’s designs are unique because they are inclusive to players of differing abilities and backgrounds. She deeply appreciates game mechanics that help convey the narrative, particularly when traditional storytelling is subtle. Since her childhood, Cordelia’s dream has been to create games that bring players together and provide a unique experience. Cordelia is best suited to a team environment where designers collaborate and build on each other’s ideas, skills, and experiences. Cordelia loves to play idea ping-pong to create new and interesting solutions. Cordelia’s accomplishments include development of software meant to simulate patient interaction for medical students. The software allowed for students to navigate a dialogue with the simulated patient via an interactive patient document. It also allowed for the creation of other cases within the same software engine. This program was compatible for both mobile devices and PCs. Cordelia is available for both temporary contracts and full-time employment. Cordelia current resides in Seattle, Washington. |
